We provide appraisal, appraisal review and other valuation services for machinery of all types, including new and classic cars, pickups, large trucks, motorcycles, buses and other specialty vehicles; we also provide valuation services for farm, construction and mining equipment, including tractors, combine harvesters, bulldozers, excavators, earth movers, cranes, loaders, backhoes, compactors, graders, skid steers, and rope shovels.
Whether you need an appraisal for insurance or finance purposes, a valuation for a purchase or a sale, or need to value assets for divorce or estate proceedings, we can fulfill your needs. All our customers are important to us, whether you have a fleet of vehicles, or just one classic car.
All our appraisals meet or exceed the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). We are constantly updating our knowledge base with the most recent pricing information from auctions and price guides, and we attend dozens of events each year to continue our education on the assets we appraise, and on the appraisal process. We provide not only a dollar value for the asset, but also advice on how to maximum value of an asset.
Our appraisals are thoroughly documented, starting with extensive details on condition and originality, including photos and videos, leading to a clear explanation of how the appraised value was calculated. We provide copies of all information used to determine value, such as auction results and pricing reports.
We want you to understand exactly how value was determined. Each appraisal is conducted and priced appropriate to the need for the appraisal; you pay for what you need – no more, no less.
Your first call to us is no-charge. We will discuss the appraisal process, identify the reason for the appraisal, appraisal review, or other service, and the people who will use the reports we produce.
We then provide a proposal for providing the service, which will include estimated cost and a sample service agreement. Once we reach agreement on the terms of the service, we begin to develop the appraisal by identifying and communicating to you the information and analysis that is needed to complete the assignment. Once the necessary information is gathered and the analysis is complete, we will provide a written or oral report to you that will meet or exceed the requirements of USPAP. This process will be continually re-visited and adjusted to ensure we have identified and conducted all the steps needed to provide a high-quality, defensible product.
Our appraisers have a deep level of knowledge on a wide range of vehicles and equipment, but when appropriate we also work with other experts who specialize in certain brands or model years, such as our good friend John Cunningham, who knows more about 1950’s American cars than probably anyone.
All the appraisers we work with are professionals with extensive experience and education in the appraiser process per USPAP.
Our priority is to ensure your appraisal or other valuation service is accurate, timely and defensible, which starts by ensuring we have the right team assigned.
